Introduction

Bambers Remedial Contractors Ltd were appointed by Blackpool Housing Company to carry out an extensive programme of refurbishment, structural adaptation, and remedial improvement works at Ribble Road.

The project was designed to transform a deteriorated property into a safe, modern, and energy improved home capable of accommodating larger families, supporting local housing priorities and improving resident wellbeing.

Enlarged bathroom window opening with new lintel installation, brickwork repairs, plastering, and EWI adjustment Structural reconfiguration including steel beam installation and associated ceiling/plaster repairs

Replacement of three energy efficient windows Removal and reinstatement of render to accommodate new IWI depth

Internal Safety & Layout Improvements

Revised staircase with new treads for improved safety and compliance Stop tap relocation for better access and reduced maintenance risk

Moisture Protection & Internal Fabric

Ground floor moisture remediation: tanking, sand/cement waterproof detailing, and installation of new skirting throughout

External Works & Repairs

Garden wall height reduction and fitting of new coping stones Re rendering of defective external wall areas Renewal of three damaged door frame areas

Finishing & Decoration

Full painting of rear yard walls for durability and improved appearance
