We’re delighted to share the successful completion of the Halton Branch Library refurbishment, delivered in partnership with Lancashire County Council.
This project focused on breathing new life into a much loved community space while ensuring the building is fit for the future. Key elements of the work included:
Replacement of the roof with a high performance Bauder Roofing System
Installation of modern aluminium windows to replace ageing timber frames
Careful renovation of the existing timber panelling, preserving the building’s character
Comprehensive planning and project management to deliver on time and with minimal disruption
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was the attention to detail from protecting shelves and books inside the library during works, to restoring original features that maintain the building’s heritage charm.
The before and after photos speak volumes about the transformation, and we’re proud to have played a part in ensuring this important community resource continues to serve residents for many years to come.
