Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026

This week marks National Apprenticeship Week 2026, a national celebration of the vital role apprenticeships play in developing skills, supporting industries and shaping the future workforce. At Bambers, we’re proud to take this opportunity to celebrate our apprentices and the important contribution they make to our business every day.

Apprenticeships at Bambers are about more than gaining a qualification. We offer individuals the chance to build real world experience, develop industry ready skills and grow in confidence while working on genuine projects alongside experienced professionals. Our apprentices are a key part of our teams, and we’re incredibly proud of their commitment, enthusiasm and the fresh perspectives they bring.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we were delighted to attend the Blackpool and The Fylde College Apprenticeship Job Fair last week. The event gave us the opportunity to speak to hundreds of young people who are considering apprenticeships and early career pathways, many of whom showed a strong interest in opportunities with Bambers.

We were especially proud to bring two of our own apprentices along to the event, allowing prospective applicants to hear first hand what it’s really like to be an apprentice at Bambers. From learning on the job and working on live projects, to being supported by experienced colleagues, our apprentices were able to give an honest and relatable insight into their journey so far.

We would like to thank Blackpool and The Fylde College for inviting us and for hosting such a well organised and engaging event that supports young people in taking their first steps into employment.

Throughout National Apprenticeship Week, we’ll be continuing to celebrate our apprentices and sharing more about the opportunities available at Bambers. Supporting training, development and long term careers remains central to our values, and we’re committed to investing in the next generation of talent.
